A. John Vander Zee, M. D., F.A.C.S.

Dr. Vander Zee graduated from the University Of Texas Southwestern Medical School of Dallas, Texas in 1984.  He completed his residency in General Surgery, including a year as Chief Resident, at the University of South Alabama Medical Center.  He completed his residency training in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Texas Medical Branch in 1992.  Dr. Vander Zee has been in practice in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, since 1993. 

Dr. Vander Zee resides in Cedar Rapids with his wife Jennifer, and six children.  Dr. Vander Zee's hobbies include woodworking, riding his R1100RT BMW motorcycle, and fishing for walleye.
